Jesus
who was, and is, and is yet to come
Why Jesus?
You may have stumbled upon this page by accident, but we don’t think so. You may be looking for a home church, a place to belong, or perhaps you’re just desperate for something to change in your life so that you can find purpose and meaning.
The truth is, there is no meaning to anything without Jesus. Even the wisest man in the Bible stated that “I have seen all the things that are done under the sun; all of them are meaningless, a chasing after the wind” (Ecclesiastes 1:14). Without Jesus, there is no hope, because without Him, there is no salvation.
Salvation is God’s plan to reconcile himself to mankind. God not only created us, but He also saved us by sending His son, Jesus Christ, to take our place on the cross, eradicating our sins forever. Romans 3:23 states that “all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God,” meaning that ever since Adam and Eve ate forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden, humans were born into sin and need to accept the sacrifice of the cross to be receive salvation and live eternally with God, the Father.
It seems a little intense, but it’s really simple. God loved the world so much that He sent His only Son to die for us, and when we believe that Jesus is the only way, the only truth, and the only life, we will live forever in communion with Him. We do belong. We do have purpose. There is peace. There is hope.
It is and always will be all about Jesus.
